Not at home and yet at home
The picturesque village of Bever in the Upper Engadine is the home of Lenka and Fabian Erny. On the outskirts of the 600-strong community - surrounded by a magnificent natural backdrop - the internationally successful skiers (the hostess was a two-time world champion in powder skiing) opened their luxurious Engadin Chalet on 8 December 2022 after a two-year construction period. Up to six guests can experience unforgettable holidays in this hideaway at 1717 metres above sea level. Ideal for two: the cosy chalet flat in the main residence "It was our dream to be hosts ourselves. People long for peace, for privacy. They want to switch off the fast life for a while, enjoy a comfortable, beautiful ambience. We want to fulfil these wishes for them. Among other things, we offer a chalet bread service, massages, skiing lessons in our in-house ski school, give tips on restaurants and excursions," explains hotel manager Fabian Erny, who completed his training at the renowned César Ritz Colleges, Lake Geneva.
Rooms
In this "temporary home" rustic design elements meet down-to-earth luxury. The premises radiate warmth and tradition, offer privacy as well as space for common things. The location is very quiet and yet it is only a few minutes by car to vibrant St. Moritz. Guests can choose between the 50 square meter and very comfortable apartment for a maximum of two people or the light-flooded two-storey chalet with three bedrooms for a maximum of six people.
The light-flooded apartment in the typical Engadine style was equipped with solid wood furniture and stone floors and offers a very comfortable, pleasant atmosphere. Natural materials such as chopped wood and stone ensure an exceptional living environment. High rooms give an additional feeling of spaciousness and freedom. The fully equipped oak wood kitchen with steamer, oven, electric stove, dishwasher and coffee machine will delight amateur cooks. The spacious bathroom with natural stone basin and rustic oak washbasin is like a small wellness oasis. Swisscom TV, Sonos, Spotify, Netflix, in-house information tablet, etc. with guest friend app. The apartment also has an underground car park, a private ski and bicycle room and its own laundry room with washing machine and dryer. In the summer season, guests have a private outdoor seating area to linger with deckchairs and dining facilities.
The light-flooded two-storey chalet has three bedrooms and has been furnished with hand-made furniture. Natural materials such as wood and stone ensure an exceptional living environment. There is an open fireplace in the living room, and the chalet also has a fully equipped oak kitchen with kitchen island, bar, steamer, oven, electric stove, dishwasher and coffee machine. Tempered wine cabinet with a choice of selected wines and the house wine range. (for a fee). Spacious bathrooms on both floors. Swisscom TV, Sonos, Spotify, Netflix, in-house information tablets with Gastfreund app - entertainment technology at the highest level.
A private underground car park directly below the chalet enables a pleasant, stress-free access. In addition, the chalet has a private ski and bicycle room and a laundry room with washing machine and dryer. In summer, a beautiful terrace with loungers and a dining area invites you to linger and enjoy.
The wellness area with old wood sauna, whirlpool with air-water massage programs as well as an infrared lounger and waterfall shower is reserved exclusively for chalet guests. Outside, guests are spoiled with an outdoor hot tub.
