With great commitment, owner Walter Peintner had the noble residence, first mentioned in the year 990, extensively renovated. Frescoes have been exposed and restored, and the luxurious suites have been furnished with original old wooden floors, historical wall paneling, antiques, opulent fabrics, but also modern design and lifestyle kitchens.
The exclusive refuge offers a unique living experience with maximum privacy, a fine spa area with saunas and a pool and a Mediterranean garden. The portfolio also includes a breakfast service, the kitchen club (wine and kitchen lounge), the honesty bar with fine drinks and a concierge service. A private cook can be organized on request.Three suites can be combined and enlarged. In addition, Anitz Maurn is a wonderful location for dream weddings and unforgettable events. The Maurn residence is remote and yet easily accessible at any time of the year. It is part of the natural and cultural area in the Puster Valley.

Watch the awakening of spring at the world cultural center of Merano, in the beautiful gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle. In summer you can hike through the beautiful mountain trails on the numerous Dolomite high-altitude trails. Marked hiking trails lead through mountains and valleys. Experienced climbers can also get their money's worth on the numerous via ferrata. Bike paths lead through the whole of the Puster Valley. With the MTB or e-bike you can conquer the Pustertal cycle path in stages (110km) and take the train back in a relaxed manner.
The museums at Plan de Corones can be reached in a few minutes, and Norbert Niederkofler's AlpiNN gourmet restaurant invites you to eat. Golf enthusiasts can improve their handicap on the most beautiful golf courses in South Tyrol: Pustertal Golf Club with 9 holes, Alta Badia Golf Club with 9 holes, Lienz Golf Club with 36 holes, St. Vigil Seis Golf Club with 18 holes.
Every autumn day invites you to discover hiking areas. You can also comfortably reach the panoramic and hiking trails throughout the country using the open cable cars.
