Hide – eat – sleep in the Arlberg mountains

Reinterpreting the tried and tested, that is what Christine Bechter, the young boss of the Holzgauerhaus, has taken up. With great sensitivity she has preserved the atmosphere and charm of the traditional inn and created a new, contemporary house of hospitality – for an active vacation in the mountains just as suitable as for people who are looking for a time out with a feel-good character. True to the slogan "hide – eat – sleep", guests can retreat to a cosmos of complete tranquility, unspoiled nature and warm hospitality. Because here in liberating solitude at an altitude of over 1500 meters – in the midst of the valleys of the Lechtal, Arlberg and Tannberg – time itself is the greatest luxury.

Time to explore the mountain world directly from the front door on foot, by bike, with snowshoes or on skis. Time to relax after an eventful day in the great outdoors in one of the quaint rooms in the main house or in one of the new light-flooded Auszeitslofts. The latter welcome guests with a successful combination of lots of warm wood, modern design and maximum comfort. Here the free space optics, the Walk through shower inclusive Physioterm infrared panel, extra-large panorama bathtub, which is at the same time couch place directly before the window and large, sunny balconies raise the breath-robbing view to the atmospheric main actor. Contemporary loft amenities include a kitchenette with wine cabinet and minibar. Two of the lofts also have a private whirlpool on the terrace.

A time-out in the Holzgauer Haus is always also one: a time of enjoyment. And this already begins with the "all-u-want breakfast", which is served on request until 12 o'clock. During the day, the HERZSTÜCK restaurant tempts guests with regional delicacies and homemade cakes, and from 7 p.m. the kitchen serves modern regional cuisine in six gourmet courses at unusually flexible times. As a special highlight, it is also recommended to book the HOLZGAUER HERD, where the hostess personally invites to "care & share" traditional dishes, new interpretations and modern natural wines, at the 100-year-old wood stove in the "old kitchen".
