With great sensitivity, she has preserved the atmosphere and charm of the traditional inn and created something new and contemporary. Just as suitable for an active holiday in the mountains as for people who are looking for a break with a feel-good factor.
True to the slogan “hide • eat • sleep”, guests can retreat to a cosmos of complete peace, unspoiled nature and warm hospitality. Because here in a liberating, secluded location at over 1,500 meters above sea level - in the midst of the Lechtal, Arlberg and Tannberg valleys - time itself is the greatest luxury.
Time to explore the mountains on foot, by bike, with snowshoes or on skis right from your front door. Time to relax after an eventful day in the great outdoors in one of the cozy rooms in the main building or in one of the new light-flooded time-out lofts. The latter welcome guests with a successful combination of lots of warm wood, modern design and maximum comfort. The free room optics, the "walk-through shower" including the Physioterm infrared panel, the extra-large panorama bathtub, which is also a bed directly in front of the window, and the large, sunny balconies raise the breathtaking view of the atmospheric main protagonist. The contemporary loft furnishings include a kitchenette with a wine cabinet and minibar. Two of the lofts also have a private whirlpool on the terrace!

A break in the Holzgauer Haus is always one thing: a time of pleasure. And it starts with the “all-u-want breakfast”, which can be served until 12 noon on request. During the day, the HERZSTÜCK restaurant tempts you with regional delicacies and home-baked cakes and from 7 p.m. the kitchen serves modern regional cuisine in 6 gourmet courses at unusually flexible times. As a special highlight, we recommend booking the HOLZGAUER HERD, because the hostess personally invites you to "caren & share" traditional dishes, new interpretations and modern natural wines, at the 100 year old wood stove in the "old kitchen".
