New life behind old monastery walls
Lago di Garda - deep blue water surrounded by mighty mountains, lined with cypresses and picturesque villages. A destination of longing that fascinates. For those who love this unique, lively flair, but also seclusion and modern comfort, there is now a spectacular address: the Hotel Monastero Arx Vivendi. Near the charming little town of Arcos, Stefanie Happacher and her husband Manuel Mutschlechner, in collaboration with the renowned architecture and design studio noa*, created a hideaway from a former monastery that is second to none. Individual rooms and suites, a reception, lobby, kitchen, breakfast room and bar have been created from barren monastery cells. The day begins with a rich Arx Vivendi breakfast. Wellness lovers enjoy the newly designed spa area "Salus per Aquam", the sun terrace, the pool. In addition, yoga and wellness retreats are offered.
