Opening in mid-June, the Son Bunyola Hotel is the newest star in the Virgin Limited Edition, Sir Richard Branson's collection of award-winning luxury hotels. This magnificent 16th-century manor house in the Tramuntana region of north-west Mallorca offers a total of 26 rooms and suites as well as three independent luxury villas that have been available for rent for a number of years.
The 1000 hectare Son Bunyola estate sits on a UNESCO World Heritage Site where the new hotel forms an integral part of the spectacular estate, surrounded by almond and olive trees, grape vines and citrus trees. The 16th-century finca has been carefully restored during development, faithfully retaining all of the original features to seamlessly blend the new design with historical elements and celebrate a homage to the building's history.
The Tafona, where the historic olive press used to stand, houses two breathtaking signature suites with spacious terraces. The Hideaway also features two unique tower suites with panoramic mountain and sea views - one of which was once a 13th-century medieval defensive tower.
Two restaurants - a Mediterranean restaurant and a tapas bar with several dining terraces leave no culinary wish unfulfilled. Regeneration and relaxation can be enjoyed in the luxurious spa and in the swimming pool with a wide view over the famous Foradada and the surrounding landscape.

Sa Punta de S'Aguila translates to 'Eagle's Point' and this five bedroom villa is set along a path above the coast. Built in traditional Mallorcan style, with exposed beam ceilings and terracotta tiled floors, it has been built sympathetically into the landscape and offers panoramic sea and mountain views.
