From a small restaurant with six guest rooms, Sabine and Ernest Schaetzel created one of the most attractive four-star domiciles in Alsace. In the meantime, they are supported with just as much commitment by their daughter Aurélie, son Guillaume and his wife Alina. Time and again, the family has kept their enchanting domicile in tune with the times, creating a true gem over the years. One of the highlights of the house is the gourmet restaurant "La Table des Chateaux", where senior chef Ernest Schaetzel lives his love for the best products from Alsace with great authenticity and passion - a refined cuisine accompanied by top-class wines.
Rooms
The Hostellerie des Châteaux & Spa has 67 individually decorated rooms and suites. Sometimes modern, sometimes sovereign and elegant in the colours chocolate and aniseed, dark leather furniture... then again strongly inspired by regional traditions with woodwork, linen curtains, lots of cosiness. But all rooms have one thing in common - state-of-the-art technological comfort. The romantic rooms range in size from 20 to 70 square metres. Here, every guest will find his or her own personal temporary home and plenty of space. Absolute living highlights are the luxury suites (50-120 square metres), as they also offer a private sauna, whirlpool and steam bath. The rooms of the Résidence des Châteaux (3 stars) are located a hundred metres away from the Hostellerie des Châteaux. They have direct access to the wellness area. Jacuzzi and swimming pool.
