Nestled in the magnificent mountain world of the Rieserferner Group (Hohe Tauern) and in the immediate vicinity of the Kronplatz skiing and hiking area lies the idyllic village of Stefansdorf above St. Lorenzen in South Tyrol's Pustertal Valley. At an altitude of over 1300 metres, a very special place of power awaits its guests here - the Haidenberg Alpine village! It has been family-owned for over sixty years and is now run with great warmth by Gerda and Robert Dorfmann. In addition to their enchanting rooms and suites, the hosts have now added six luxurious alpine chalets to their domicile - traditional yet equipped with the most modern comforts. The cosy chalets offer plenty of space and are connected underground to the main house. This means you can always reach the mountain inn with dry feet. A cosy feel-good atmosphere, South Tyrolean delicacies and fine wines make every visit a pleasure. After experiencing the beauty of nature during the day, the new wellness area with natural bathing pond, saunas, SPA-treatments and massages provides relaxation afterwards. Privacy is always maintained in the luxury alpine chalets, but those who still like a little lively life can enjoy barbecues, fondue evenings, communal bread baking and cheerful parties on the premises. Then host Robert Dorfmann likes to pick up the accordion himself. At Almdorf Haidenberg, one thing is very simple - be happy!
Rooms
The private hideaway offers its guests nineteen rooms and suites as well as six new luxury alpine chalets in the categories Bergromantik, Wiesenglück, Gipfeltraum and Alpenzauber. All chalets are 120 square metres in size and are equipped with a kitchen, sauna, balcony or terrace and, in some cases, an outdoor whirlpool. The interior, selected with great attention to detail, impresses with its natural old wood furniture, high level of comfort and South Tyrolean cosiness.
